Beam them up

Each question is one beam. The alien asks in its speech bubble, and the answers are signs with a creature peeking over each. The student picks a creature, and a right answer has the flying saucer beam it up so its portrait joins the crew panel.

How to play Beam them up

  1. Press Play and the saucer arrives.
  2. Read the question and pick the creature with the right answer: click or tap it, press 1 to 4, A to D, or T and F, or move the ring with Left and Right and press Enter or Space.
  3. Fill the crew panel by the end of the set.

Right and wrong answers

A right answer beams the creature up. A wrong one makes the beam spark, the creature hops away, and the right sign lights up. The clock pauses between questions.

Can students play without a mouse?

Yes. They can press 1 to 4, A to D, T and F, or move the ring with Left and Right and press Enter or Space.

What is the crew panel?

Each creature beamed up with a right answer adds its portrait, so the panel shows the score at a glance.

How many questions are in a game?

Between 5 and 20, with 10 by default.
